There are sacred spaces on earth; places where the barrier between heaven and earth is so thin that God's presence and love cannot be denied.
This is what I pray the Sanctuary will be: a sacred place where we can come just as we are, and know that we are accepted and loved. A space where we can be honest, vulnerable, and true, knowing that there is no pressure, no judgment, and no hurry.
A space where we can ruminate, reflect, meditate, and think on all the things and feel all the feels. A steady, grounded place to reconnect with ourselves and with Christ who lives in us.
I created this space, first and foremost, for me. This blog will reveal a lot of my thoughts and emotions; things I thought and felt as I strived to heal and my efforts to truly know the extent of Christ's love for me (Eph 3:17-21).
But I hope that this space and the stories it holds will be helpful to you as well. May the things shared here be an encouragement to you and a validation of your own thoughts and feelings, particularly if we walk similar paths in our journeys.
I'm saying a prayer for us all as we step into this space: that the grace of Jesus, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Spirit will be with us throughout our time here and beyond.
Just like the Father's arms, the doors here are always open. You are always welcome here, beloved.

Being True is a sacred sanctuary, a safe space where you can come just as you are, knowing that you will be loved and accepted. As you continue to show up, may you grow to be more and more like your true self, that is, like Christ who lives in you.
